Match line-up and ticketing prices for Merlion Cup
2 August 2016- Basketball Association of Singapore (BAS) is pleased to announce the full match schedule and ticketing information for the Merlion Cup.
The Merlion Cup was last held in 1996 had been an iconic event for basketball fans in Singapore. After a 20 year hiatus, the Merlion Cup is finally making a comeback at the OCBC Arena from 21st September to 25th September 2016.
Six high level professional clubs from the region will be featured in this Merlion Cup. They are Singapore Slingers, Shanghai Sharks, Malaysia Dragons, Seoul Samsung Thunders, Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor and Mighty Sports (Philippines).
Match Fixtures for Merlion Cup 2016 is as follows:
Six teams will be organized in two groups.
Group A: Singapore Slingers, Shanghai Sharks, Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor
Group B: Malaysia Dragons, Mighty Sports (Philippines), Seoul Samsung Thunders

Tickets are available in three price categories as follows:
1.Concession ticketswill cost $10 for both weekdays and weekends (limited to 500 tickets per match day); Only students holding a valid local student pass and senior citizens holding a valid local senior citizen card are eligible for the Concession Tickets;
2.Standard ticketswill cost $15(weekdays) and $20(weekends);
3.Season Passwill cost $75(for all 5 days);
4.Courtside ticketswill cost $50(weekday) and $60(weekend).
Sales of tickets will start on 9th August, 2016.
